The ancient line of High Railway Pistoiese (FAP), also known as railway Pracchia-San Marcello Pistoiese-Mammiano was completely dismantled since 1965 although in some places the path has been re-used as cycle-pedestrian track (for itinerary click here).
Currently, the rail line that runs through the main centres of the Pistoiese mountain is the Pistoia-Bologna (Porrettana).
